Nyalleng Moorosi: Getting Acquainted with AI 

Nyalleng is a research fellow at the Distributed AI Research Institute and a former Google engineer. She will discuss some of the basics of AI and discuss what tasks these tools are and are not good at. She will discuss where things can go wrong in AI systems; why we have bias, property rights issues, hallucinations and many other harms that we ought to look out for when we use AI systems.
