Evaluate or Be Bitten: Spotting Venomous News Online

 

Join us for a presentation with Dr. Shelley Boulianne who will discuss Canadian’s experiences of misinformation on social media. This is a part of the library event series Don’t Get Tangled in the Web, which focuses on learning opportunities related to digital citizenship.

These events will cover topics such as misinformation, disinformation, and evaluation of information. There will also be opportunities for students to participate in learning and engage with resources.
