Research Options for Sask Polytech Staff

 

Library employees are adept at helping with various research needs. If you are engaging in research as a part of your job, we can make your life easier -- either through our Research Services or Guidance.

Research Services 

Discipline-specific librarians will perform information searches to fulfill various needs across the organization, including: 

• Curriculum reviews and revisions; 
• Updating of course materials (such as journal articles);
• General reading on a topic prior to teaching.

Research Guidance 

Some requests fall outside of the scope of library services. However, as information professionals, we can provide support. For instance, leadership might request an environmental scan, or you might be involved in scoping review or systematic review. We provide PD sessions on these research methods.
